Howdy,
Having installed DFM on a VPS and gotten the Connection Agent to work, the problem now is to configure DFM to send email using smtp.gmail.com. It turns out that the VPS host I am using block ports 465 & 587 to prevent customers hosting mail servers for spam purposes. They have suggested that we use port 2525 as an alternative which I have set to use STARTLS, using the credentials and the App Password provided by Gmail.
When I try sending a test email, I keep getting the following message:-
EmailException: Sending the email to the following server failed : smtp.gmail.com:2525
MailConnectException: Couldn't connect to host, port: smtp.gmail.com, 2525; timeout 60000
SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out
Any help or advice wouldbe appreciated.
